Privacy, participation, and public content

Who may participate

Public reading is open. An adult may sign in, accept this notice, and join the free beta without an invitation. Participation is provisional and may be limited or suspended to protect people, evidence, or the integrity of the community.

What we collect

When you sign in, FidiFox receives a sign-in provider account identifier, verified email address, and display name. It also stores your notice attestations, selected communities, interests, optional experience information, participation intent, memberships, posts, replies, helpful validations, reports, moderation history, declared business affiliations, and earned credit records. For eligible approved promotions, the service stores the promotion identifier, member account identifier, and record time needed to count one delivery per member. Promoters receive only aggregate counts, not member identities. Rate-limit records include an account identifier, action type, time window, and count. Trust checks may compare reciprocal interaction patterns.

What becomes public

Published posts and replies, your display name, social helpful totals, visible commercial disclosures, and business affiliations connected to published commercial content can be read and shared outside the beta. Onboarding answers, email addresses, private review queues, reports, balances, and individual promotion-viewer identities are not public.

How the data is used

Beta data is used to operate community access, route questions to relevant contributors, surface useful answers, enforce commercial rules, investigate manipulation, calculate noncash reputation and local promotion credits, measure aggregate earned reach, and evaluate whether the model works. FidiFox does not sell participant data or sell placement, trust, votes, or promotion credits during this beta.

Who can access private beta data

The beta owner can access onboarding records, invitations, account records, reports, balances, and audit records. Authorized reviewers can access pending commercial submissions and reports needed for review. Netlify provides sign-in and hosting services, and other service providers process data needed to deliver, monitor, and secure the service. Promoters receive aggregate delivery counts only.

Progressive trust

A new member may join communities, ask questions, answer, validate contributions, report problems, and disclose affiliations. A visible helpful total is social feedback, not an automatic credit or promotion award. Economic influence is activated only after server-side trust checks consider a member's history, independent validation, account standing, and completed review periods. Exact anti-manipulation thresholds are not public.

Moderation and commercial content

Useful content is not guaranteed to be correct. Members remain responsible for checking travel terms, prices, eligibility, safety, and professional advice. Commercial content requires a visible relationship disclosure, earned promotion eligibility, and independent review before publication. Reports and moderation decisions are recorded, but in-product appeals are not yet available.

Retention, correction, and deletion

FidiFox has not set a fixed deletion schedule for most beta records. Records may be retained during and after testing when needed to preserve moderation, credit, security, and audit integrity. Requests are handled manually, and some records may need to be retained, restricted, or de-identified rather than deleted. We will explain any limitation when responding to a request.

Open beta limits

There are no cash payouts, tips, subscriptions, purchased credits, guaranteed promotion results, or permanent community ownership. The service may change, pause, or end during beta testing. Open enrollment does not guarantee trust status, promotion access, review authority, tip eligibility, stewardship, employment, agency, or future payment.
